Are we looking at the perfect potential name tie-in with the team being called CITY FOUNDRY? This would be a big boost to the above mentioned City Foundry entertainment -work -live project now being developed at Spring & Forest Park Avenue ;-)
SLU is apparently on board - SLU President Fred Pestello said Friday that the university had talked with aspiring ownership group Foundry St. Louis and “others” about developing the site - so there may be more than one ownership group interested in such a great location.
From my perspective, the Grand bus line and Metrolink station are all right there for fans from downtown and the suburbs, and then think of all the SLU students + local Fan / Supporter Clubs marching from the Central West End, Midtown, & The Grove to cheer their team on!
